Atomium- The landmark
Created forthe 1958 World fair. With it’s 9balls represents an iron crystal magnifiefd 165 billions times. it is often mistakenly though to represent an atom, but in the fact each ball represents an atom of iron.
the significant of this construction is to celebrate scientific discoveries and breakthroughs. Inside , you will find exhibitions ad most importantly,a stunning view of the brussels-Capital Region from the top ball.
